Russian Diving Head coach Svetlana MOISEEVA (representative for President Alexey VLASENKO) and General Manager Eduard FEOKTISTOV, visited the Kanazawa City Hall on November 15th, to sign a convention with Mayor Yukiyoshi YAMANO for the Russian Diving team to hold their 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games training camps in Kanazawa City!This is the third convention to have athletes train in Kanazawa for the Tokyo 2020 Games, following French swimming and weightlifting federations.
After trying several training facilities the Russian Diving Federation decided on Kanazawa for the Kanazawa Pool facilities, and the good access to Tokyo. Russia is a superpower which has had several diving medalists in the past, so we are very excited for the exchanges that are to come!
